I was disappointed in this item as it cant open but about an inch without tearing it up.. It was somewhat unstable and the bottom kept popping up. I guess its ok for a center piece but for what I paid for it I was hoping to put some cool things in it. Not very practical for use..but ok to look at. I didnt end up using it at all at my grandsons birthday party because of this..I
t was a waste of money to me.

I bought this for my daughters 5th birthday as a little prop to her pirate and princess themed party. My first thought when I opened it was that it was very cheaply made. I figured it was going to be cheap quality because of the inexpensive price. It for the day I needed it to work but by the end of the party it had become unusable. We had only used it to store the dollar store type plastic jewel rings, necklaces, gold coins, tiaras and paper pirate hats. It is thinner than cardboard and was like holding all of those items in a paper box. It wasn't great quality for what I used it for but there's got to be a good use somewhere. This treasure test was pretty adorable and if it came in the same size, shape, design, etc but with a higher quality material I would buy several to use as dress up clothes storage or even as a prize box for my kids.
